“Malicious UI Modifications

We definitely want people to create their own UIs utilizing custom menu configurations, graphics, and even sounds. Anything that can be coded to modify the style and the look of the UI is fair game, as long as the modifications are done to the sanctioned internal files of the game. However, anything done to the UI to gain any sort of an unfair advantage over other players is unacceptable. If a player is found to have modified a UI so that they gain an unfair advantage in the game over others, he/she may:
Be temporarily suspended from the game
Have further action taken, up to and including account closure, based on the intent of the modification”

My mining nodes also are not displaying. I checked and the Professions section is “enabled.” Everything else about cartographer is working great though. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Also, why doesn’t Cartographer have some kind of official website where people can go to for FAQs?

HOW CAN I GET THE HERBALISM NODES TO SHOW UP ON THE MAP PLZ I HAVE CARTOGRAPHER AND CARTOGRAPHER_DATA AND CARTOGRAPHER_HERBALISM. IT DOES NOT WORK. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP???

Cartographer_Mining and Cartographer_Herbalism havent been updated since july 08. Not sure if the author is still around to update it therefore these mods wont work in northrend.
If you have any programming history it’s easy to fix. Got my mods working in less that 20 minutes but it’s too much to explain in a reply like this. Ask one of your friendly guild scripters to have a go at sorting it for you :)

I downloaded cartographer this morning. I got a 3 day suspension within hours for:
Type of Violation: Use of Prohibited Third Party software Consequences for Account: Account Suspension for 3 days (72 hours), Password Reset and warning placed on the account
No doubt here as far as I am concerned… Don’t use it!

Been using this or a version of this since it first came out.. IMPOSSIBLE you were banned for this mod.. Period

I have spoken to GM’s about this. Been told REPEATEDLY , use of these types of MODS does NOT constitute violation.
