Sorry, Not sure I understand which part to replace in the comments.php file. I thought I did it right (saw the new comments box with grayed out avatar) but it wouldn’t let me comment so I think I’m not doing something right…(also didn’t do anything when i clicked on the reply to comment part.)

How do I find “the comment output loop”? Can you give me an example of what I’m looking for?

Any idea if there is an update coming for WordPress 2.8.x? :)
It seems like that the comment preview function is broken since 2.8.x.
