yea there are good girl gamers but its not true that girl gamers can "compete with the best of them". find me one female gamer who is among the best of ANY game.

a good female gamer can beat scrubby male gamers, but nowhere near compete with the "best of us". i was among the best in the world at a game called "pangya", in it's heyday, which i no longer play. the male/female split on that game was roughly 50/50. the best female on the server ranked maybe 20th overall, second best was nowhere near that. that's not competing with the best, that's quite a way behind the best. i've played many other games in my time and am yet to see a female gamer be among the best players.

sad but true. i would love to see girls prove me wrong, but unfortunately none have really stepped up and done it. i've even attempted to tutor girls into being good, but they're just lacking in something. maybe it's testosterone, maybe it's just they don't dedicate as much time as hardcore male gamers. who knows.
